Charity Chase 2010 - June 5th!

A 13.1 mile USATF Certified course beginning in Union Square of Downtown Hickory at 7am. All proceeds will benefit local charitable groups who come out and volunteer the day of the race.

Registration: $35 until March 1, 2010
                    $45 until April 15, 2010
                  $50 until June 4, 2010

Getting ready to start the race!

Post Race Party presented by Hickory Crawdads and Budweiser.
Join us for what has been called "the best post race party" at the Hickory Crawdad's Baseball Game on June 5th! Runners get in FREE, extra tickets available for purchase at Registration and on Race Day for $17 per adult and $12 per child (children under age 3 are free). Includes game ticket, private seating and dinner 5-7pm.
Overall race winners will be recognized prior to the start of the game.

"I have run many marathons and half marathons, and Hickory rates at the top. The course is scenic, but a challenge, which is well worth the effort. The volunteers are exceptional, and the support leaves nothing to be desired. The after run party at the Hickory Crawdads ballpark is truly fantastic, the perfect way to celebrate. I travel a lot and find myself telling people all over the place about Hickory. Charity Chase Half Marathon in Hickory is one that should not be missed."

As of October 28, 2009, Sid has completed 162 marathons and 250 half marathons all over the country.

Friday night Pasta Party at Crowne Plaza Hotel 6-8pm
Post Race Party at the Crawdads Baseball Game 5-7pm, game starts at 7.

Packet pick up: Friday 5:30-8pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Race Day 5:45-6:30am in Downtown, Union Square. Packets, medals or awards cannot be mailed.

Directions: I-40 East, Exit 125 Lenoir Rhyne Blvd., turn Right onto Lenoir Rhyne Blvd. I-40 West, Exit 125, turn left onto Lenoir Rhyne Blvd. Left onto Tate Blvd.-- turns into 1^st Ave. SE, Follow into downtown area – turns into 1^st Ave. SW. Turn Right on 2^nd St. SW.
